Tuesday, September 10, 2019James Morrison Johnson, 28, 5639 Flatwoods Road, Rose Hill, was indicted on three felony counts of attempted first-degree murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The charges stem from a Dec. 8, 2018 attack against a man. Conviction on the charges could result in a maximum 18 year prison term.— Sam Landers Hicks, 42, 3060 6th St., St. Paul, was indicted on one count of aggravated malicious wounding in connection with an alleged April 7 attack on a female victim. Conviction on the charge could result in a maximum life sentence.— Gary Lyle Hudson, 56, 10107 Sparrow Hawk Road, Coeburn, faces a maximum five-year sentence for an alleged attack on a female June 8.— William M. Mills, 35, was charged with two felony counts of malicious wounding, one count of strangulation and two misdemeanor counts of assault and battery on a family member in connection with an alleged April 21 attack on a woman. Tuesday, August 28, 2018Huntington’s botanists for the public to see what’s inside.The Huntington tweeted early Friday one of three plants now on display at the Huntington Gardens’ Rose Hills Foundation Conservatory “has decided to bloom” and that fans can visit during viewing hours to see the process – and experience the stink that the flower exudes, a smell that has been compared to a combination of rotting meat, garbage, rotten eggs and decomposing vegetables.“Whoa! This was unexpected! One of the #TitanTriplets has decided to bloom…TODAY! Are you ready, flower fans? Since the closing of Franklin Flower Shop, which has since merged with Rebel Hill Florist in Nashville, this will be the return of a floral shop in downtown Franklin.The shop will offer unique, high-end floral designs for daily delivery, corporate accounts, events, and other special occasions, shared owner Lauren Bourgeois.Customers will also have the option to order online and request delivery.
